What is Organic

Organic agriculture emerged in the early twentieth century as a consumer and farmer-oriented movement in opposition to increasingly industrialized and chemically carried out agriculture. Organic products are produced without the use of chemical inputs, artificial fertilizers, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), or irradiation at any stage, starting with seed, soil, air, and water conditions and continuing until they reach the tables. It is inspected and recorded by "Control Certification Bodies" authorized by the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The products are scientifically analyzed and reported on by certified laboratories ensuring that they're residue-free. Then, the producer is given the 'Entrepreneur Certificate' at the end of this process. The products produced are also certified with product certificates. On products with an Organic Certificate, only the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's organic logo is included, and these products are labeled as "Organic". It is illegal to use the term "Organic" on goods that do not meet any of these requirements. .
